The Hotel is a good starting point for hill-walking owing to its position between the olive groves and the mountains, where the old paths cross;   those of Las Villas and Segura by way of Burunchel, or those of the valley through the Arenales pass, the Rasos, The Ranchales and the Espinarea by way of the Yew pass or the La Iruela lake. The uplands of Santiago de la Espada, Nava de San Pedro, La Sarga or Vadillo can be reached by the "Peñonborondo“ path.

Available at reception is the Hotel’s own leaflet/guide outlining 5 walking itineraries taking you to the heart of nature.

You can book 4x4 excursions to areas of the park where access is restricted.

Activities available include horse-riding, routes by Quad, canoeing, white-water rafting etc...
